I agree the app needs a lot of work. How do you know if someone placed an order so you can thank them?
This has the potential to be a great app but it needs work. Please make the app able to support more than one scout in one adult/guardian account. We have 2 scouts and I have to log out and log back in with a different email and password to access my other scout. It would be so much user friendly if when sharing the li on social media it automatically connected to our scout. No codes to enter at check out makes it much more user friendly and especially for the older family members wanting to support our scouts. Adding a tracker where the parent and scout can see how much they’ve sold online and how much they have left to reach their goal would be very beneficial. The Scout can calculate how much more they need to sell and set goals. The ability to enter sales made off line would be a huge help as well. More popcorn could be sold if these changes were made which is a win win.
This app does nothing. It fails every time you try to upload a video, no tracking of sales, and it is clunky and unstable.
You would think with all the technology today we would have an App for the Scouts to sell popcorn more efficiently!?!? Not here! This is nothing more than an app that can update your profile. A big waste of space! We need an application that the Scouts can use to order, sell, track, and to make the popcorn process easier and more effective! Spend a little money and help the Scouts out, after all, your making a good chunk of change from this process too!
I was really excited to learn that there was an app where I could share my Cub Scout's popcorn profile to reach more people for sales. I'm having 2 problems with this app. 1. I have two boys in Cub Scouts and cannot link both of their online ordering IDs together. 2. When I try to share the profile on FB, it says I need to be logged in to FB to continue. I'm always logged in to FB. Now, granted I am trying this from an iPad, so it may work on a desktop. But at this point, I'm over it and will be sending emails to out of town relatives like I have in the past. I really hope the bugs get worked out for next year's sales.
