Beautifully designed. Extremely helpful. Amazingly simple.
If you are like me you listen to a lot of streaming music and radio. When I hear a great new sound or discover an artist I can never remember them after the song is over. With My Music not only will I remember them later, but I will be able to explore more of their tracks and videos.
-The colors and themes for each artist is dynamically created to match the colors of the album art work.
-Search and save any artist in the iTunes library.
-Tap and hold artist to organize the layout of saved artists.
-Swipe to the left to delete.
-Read Wikipedia entries in app of your saved artists.
-Watch music videos in app via YouTube.
-Dive deep into the discography of saved artists, to find new tracks and albums.
-Listen to a sample of any track provided by iTunes.
-All artists, albums and tracks have a convenient link to the iTunes Store.
If you love discovering new music, you will love this app!
Enjoy.
Not the most complex app out there. I guess that can be a good thing? I use it to check out new music I hear. It does that well.
I like this one a lot! It kinda works like the iTunes album colors. The background color is based on album art. It seems a little slow when it loads the artist for the first time, but after that it goes fast. Maybe its my internet connection? It also crashed a couple of times loading wikipedia or youtube stuff. Again not sure if that’s just my connection? Regardless I really like the look and feel of the app. I like to organize my favorite music. Hope the developer keeps updating it :)
This is a nice and simplistic app, but I believe that this app could be so much better. What the developers could do is make it to whenever your artists that you have saved come out with new songs and albums it would notify you. If this app did that then I would happily rate it 5 stars.
1. U can't multi task. This is why I'm deleting the app. If I wanted to WATCH listening to music I would just use YouTube. 2. App is insanely slow to load artwork, artists that are added, and when clicking on a particular album. I kept thinking the app froze!
This app is pretty much the equivalent of previewing songs on iTunes. This app is useless.
I thought I you could hear the compleat music with this app but no. You have to bye it so you can hear it.
You must manually enter the artist's name and save it. Then, you have instant access to song clips, YouTube vids and Wikipedia blurbs. Much better than Apple's Music app because you can sample multiple tracks before you buy. Easy to click over to iTunes when you are ready to purchase. I'd give it 5 stars if it did the same thing for Amazon songs, or recognized the artist automatically.
