Good app but why do my speakers stop when using?

Every time I start the app the music I have playing in the background stops. Why? Doesn’t happen with my other apps.
Miss the old version

The graphics are less informative or intuitive in their presentation. Miss the overall world map where you could see all formations off of Africa.

i am living through hurricane ida as i type. woke to a cell blasting tornado warnings this morning BUT NOTHING FROM THIS APP— the ONLY tornado this app registers is from 15 hours ago & 1200 miles away. why have the option if it’s not going to help save lives by actually functioning?? VERY DISAPPOINTED! there have been at least 2 touchdowns in my county in the last hour, so i would expect SOME INFO at the least. this app is great for tracking hurricane progression, but DON’T BOTHER using it for more immediate emergencies!!! find something else!

This app is awesome!!! I love being able to track hurricanes and read all tornado warnings across US. It’s very accessible to voiceover users. Thank you for that! ?
iPad version not good

The iPhone version is pretty good but the iPad version falls short: the legend covers most the center of the map and the cone and models displays are hidden below the satellite map (there is no indication they are there unless you know to scroll down). Poor interface design there.
