While in Miami I used this app exclusively to manage my family's safety. The accuracy of the information it provides allowed me to estimate when it would be safe to walk out of my home between feeder bands and rake out debris from sewer drains, which kept my street from flooding. I was also able to show my children a source of information straight from satellite and radar, to explain what the advisories meant and why they were issued, free from the over dramatization and fear mongering of the local news stations. I highly recommend this app.
