How can an app be soooo slooooooow?!

I lost 6kg in 6 month from this app, and I will forever be grateful. However, after a year hiatus, I’m trying to lose another 5kg, and I’m using the app faithfully, but the lag drives. me. insane. This is such a simple, elegant app, which works, it should be fast to click buttons (like add food for the day). But... it... takes... 30... seconds... to... add... one... slice... of... ham...

This seems to be the only organized calorie and carb tracker app out there. It works so well and is so organized even after the update, it’s still easy to use. I don’t know why, but it just works for me!

Integrates well with Apple health and sugar sense. Would recommend both for diabetics. Some minor usability issues hence the 4 instead of 5 stars. Update: Having used this app over a period of time I do find it very useful. It would be beneficial if the end user can change the diet requirements (amount of carbs, proteins etc) or even a template based on the diet they are on (keto etc).

I used this app successfully about 2 years ago for 6 months to hit a goal, and have recently started again to go for another goal, however the app is unbelievably slow. Easily 15-20 seconds between clicking on anything and the app reaction (ie to switch from daily mode to the calendar overview, or to add a food). I’ve been tracking for 20 days now, and each. day. the. app. gets. slower. Also there are some basic programming errors, such as when you add multiple custom foods on the same day, they all get the same serving she, then they all reset to the right size after the app closes and reopens. Annoying!

I used to love this app. It was so easy to use. After this last update, it erased all my data and I couldn’t get it back to where I wanted. No instructions and support was no help—just a thank you for your comments. I will be looking for a new app that I can use.

Just being aware of everything you eat is enough to lose weight! I haven't starved myself. I eat what I want but just watch the total for the day. Fascinating nutritional info on each food and your totals for the day. Why didn't I do this ages ago???


Crashed and would not launch again. Lost 3 months of data inputs.

Not recommended. It crashed 3 weeks ago, never to open again. Lost all my critical data. Historical weights, meals, notes. Been hoping few weeks that an update will allow me to open the app. Looks like I will have to just delete the app and all of my history. The Livestrong app seems to work much better. More responsive.
