Catechist
As a Roman Catholic, and a former catechist; who has only limited knowledge of the rites of my Muslin brothers; this App will surely prove to be an excellent window into what occurs on the path of a devout follower of Mohamed as the believer makes the journey to Mecca. While using this “demo” I was quite impressed with the level of immersion I experienced.; the scenery was rich in detail, and provided a sense of realism; all I can say is: “If this is the “demo,” I can’t wait for the release of the full app.” For us of other faith traditions, this is a truly remarkable learning, and teaching tool. As a religious education instructor, I can envision it being used in the classroom to allow those of non-Muslim faith traditions the opportunity to learn what it means to follow in the footsteps of a believer, while at the same time, maintaining a respectful distance from these most Sacred spaces for the ‘True-Believers “ in Mohammed. This App is ideal for those preparing students for Confirmation; and would prove invaluable when instructing students about faith traditions outside of the Church. Finally what I would like To the developers is what I believe Jesus would say; and that is: “well done, my good and faithful Servant.” I eagerly await the release of the full version.
