This reminded me of risk in a way. Intresting concept with being a different nation but could have been done better
ftw.
pros: multiple campaigns for a good board game translation with interesting concepts. cons: balance issues in favor of the british alliance. no multiplayer. some concepts just dont work. for example, spending 50 gold for building construction to receive 4 more gold per turn. itll take 13 turns to just make your investment back (much more for any decent profit), which is way too long in this game b/c so much can happen in just a few turns. notes: i find it fun that while allies won't attack you, they will take ur open territory.

I understand this is not a historical simulation, but why even bother to call it the American Revolution if it bears no resemblance whatsoever to the actual conflict. For example in the "Lexington" scenario Washington's main army starts in Kentucky and Indians control most of the colonies on the coast. Large American forces also occupy the future state of Alabama.

Quite a shame since the European War 2, same developer is much more polished, other than different countries have different strengths. Frustrating when I have 15 armies, a Marshall & Fortress, defending against the AI with no cards & a third less armies& lose badly. Both attack & defense w/o cards the AI result in +2 & multiple +1 dice rolls, whereas regardless of cards or position, I never more than a few +1 dice rolls provided I have a General card.

So heres a lesson in history. The american capitol has never been in tennessee. And the germans helping the british did not attack from the west in washington state. I got so fed up with the gross inaccuracies i didnt even play this game. So glad i didnt shell out money for this schlock.

This game has a great format, but is way to difficult. It took me hours to finally win 1 game

All your other designs are ok this one is like all your other designs and the maps are are not like the maps from 1700s and 1800s and every time I have 5 men and the other guy has the same or less I always get beat but other than that its fun for the people that like history

Looks like it has potential. Impossibly overpowered computer. Even on easiest difficulty. More frustrating then any fun. Waste of time and energy in my opinion. Would not buy.
