Perfect free app, thank you!

This free app, paired with musicIO's Mac server (also free), provides an extremely stable and low-latency MIDI link between my iPad and my Mac via a lightening-to-USB cable. No special hardware needed, no more wireless connections subject to jitter and dropped notes—it's rock solid. Thank you to the developers!

Ok I'm here

The vst plugin works fine with fl studio (midi)but it will not work with cubase (midi).musicio will not show up in the cubase device menu so I can't use it.they almost did something great. With (midi)

Crashes Ableton Live

It works while it's working but when I close Ableton Live this app will always crashes it.

Works great

Really appreciate the midi only version of this plug. Now I can send midi reliably over my lightning cable! Awesome

Has problems, and no support help

I bought this for every person in my band when I switched away from wifi connection and when the computer client began crashing (whenever some hardware was turned on) and an iPhone 4s and iPad 2 were having issues with it no one responded to any of my emails. Now here it is a month later and I still haven't heard anything from them. As it turns out Touch OSC now supports USB connection as of last month's update and it works flawlessly, unlike this unreliable app, so I happily no longer need MusicIO. MusicIO in conjunction with touch osc (or lemur) doesn't work well on older devices, works ok on new devices but sometimes comes disconnected for no reason even on those so I deem it unusable for professional applications.

Waste of money, at least if you live in 2018

Doesn’t work period, VST plug-in is the only available download from developer website and it won’t open in any DAW or work at all. There’s a disclaimer on the website but they sure didn’t make it obvious that it doesn’t work before you pay in AppStore. Remove this trash, maybe it worked great years ago, but it’s obviously abandoned as far as development goes, it’s crazy they let people sell apps that don’t work at all....
