This app is great! The music is gorgeous. It is so nice to stop what I’m doing for 3-4 minutes a day to enjoy a beautiful Christmas song. Love it!

What a joy this musical advent calendar is! Each day of advent, you are presented with a musical piece to enjoy. Being the first of December, we were treated with "Once in Royal David's City" from Gabriel's Message. Each piece is played in full. There are unsecured links to iTunes for each piece and to other apps by this developer, so I would definitely play this with a child. These are usually deal breakers for me, however this app contains great exposure to some of the world's most beautiful music. Some of the promised pieces include selections from Vivaldi, Mozart and Handel. I have to admit, I tried to cheat to listen to more, but will have to wait. I am only giving 4 stars because of unsecured links, otherwise it would certainly be 5 stars. Recommended.

This is wonderful!!! Beautiful background and the music is lovely. Provides a link to iTunes if you want to buy the song.

What a joy to discover this - a musical Advent calendar with a new piece of beautiful music every day before Christmas. (Which you can purchase if you want to through iTunes) For anyone who appreciates classical Christmas music - or who just wants some reliefs from the usual holiday Muzak piped in stores, this is a wonderful app.

What a pleasure to be able to listen to a different classical piece each day of Advent. The music is beautiful, and I am glad to see so many 'heavy' classics among the pieces selected. It is also nice to be able to go back and replay them as many times as wanted. I can't thank you enough for this delightful Advent calendar app.

I have an iPhone 4S and this app has worked great. It has the most beautiful classical Christmas music. I have thoroughly enjoyed it! Looking forward to next year's.
