I cannot do without this app now. I'm so spoiled to being able to turn on the music I want from the notification center without having to actually open the music app that I can't go back now. I also really like that it lets you use your own custom icons, and especially that it takes PNG files, so you can use an image that's partly transparent, and it will be transparent on the widget too. I definitely think upgrading to the Pro version is worth the $1.99, mainly because you can control the repeat and shuffle from the widget and don't have to open the music app, plus being able to have more than 8 and change the size of the icons.

The icons I use seem smaller than what they used to be. I use the smaller size to begin with, but they appear to have gotten even smaller. They are 5 across. They almost look a bit too tiny now. May be my imagination. Still 5 stars though. Deserves 6 stars. ★★★★★★
Good for music, worthless for audiobooks

Works well to quickly launch playlists but if you set up a Launcher for an audiobook, which is an option, the audiobooks always start at the beginning and do not remember the playback position even though the Remember Playback Position option is set in iTunes.

Stopped working

App stopped doing what it's supposed to do. It used to play specific playlists set in the app. Now when you set a playlist it plays your whole music collection instead of the specific playlist
