Please Make a Sequel to This!

OSullivansWake

Or at the very least, let's get another Cave Co bullet hell game that uses stages and worlds, has a story, and takes more than one session to beat. Seriously, I LOVED this game, because it took a long time to beat and had a super hard NG+. If you won't do a sequel to this, PLEASE consider making a Deathsmiles or Dodonpachi game that actually has tons of stages, a save game system, and a storyline. I would be hooked, and I'd pay full price for it. Not bashing your other games, I know there are tons of people who enjoy that formula, but I just really want another game like this—either a sequel, or a new scrolling shooter that has the stages and progress saving that this one does. Please, guys! Please!

Bug madness!

LupoMD

Cute, quirky, puzzling, and challenging. Perfect for anyone new and veteran. A great blend of action RPG and bullet storms. Cave at its finest and an app that shouldn't be missed. If you like a challenge or want something fresh from every other bullet/shooter this will fit well in your game archives as a classic.

Thank you Cave! I must say that as my first buy from your company, that it is in my own words that I type to you with honor, the retro feel, well orchestrated music, touch controls ( easy to use and nice to handle, by the way ), the bullet patterns, ROG feel and the all around feel makes me see the originality that was on the NES and SNES still exists today. Much love, Teddi. (=゚ω゚)ノ

This update STILL doesn't support the iPhone 5 screen size

CoolieRanx

The recent update says it supports the iPhone 5 screen, but this is completely untrue. All they did was add decorative borders where the black bars would've been! Nice try, guys. Be honest next time.

Awesome Cave!

Cave never let's me down! Perfect port of an awesome game! Love it! Cave you are awesome!!!

Solid, entertaining, great controls

Makosuke

This dual-stick bomb-based game is a bit like Smash TV meets a top-down NES adventure game, with a healthy dose of bullet hell thrown in. The retro graphics are good, the characters and cutscenes are cute, the game is rather long and entertaining, heck, it even has a full (and catchy, if silly) peppy J-pop theme song. Best of all, the controls feel GREAT--extremely responsive and perfectly suited to the touchscreen. It's one of the few virtual-stick games I've played that I didn't feel like I was fighting the virtual controls. There's really only two things to complain about: One, there really isn't that much of a story (about what you'd expect from a NES-era action-adventure, which is to say limited entirely to short cutscenes between levels). And two, paths and alternate, hidden paths on levels are triggered by killing every bug in an area, but some bugs only reveal themselves when you step on certain spots and then only after killing some other bugs, so getting 100% completion requires a LOT of wandering around poking at corners randomly. I'm all for hidden bits, but it doesn't feel like there's any rhyme or reason to it--more slog of aimless prodding than satisfying.

A bullet hell action adventure

Pinachina

At least that's what it feels like. Not so much leveling up, but it's VERY Smash TV as one reviewer said. Or Minigore, but cute and with an awesome soundtrack. Yet it has a lot of hidden paths to find, and really cool looking enemies. Highly recommended. Cave is a very talented bunch!

essential twin stick shooter

Mana808

Playing this now on iPhone 6, this bullet hell game plays as smooth as ever with the number of bugs chasing after you on the screen and your bombs going off on them. It is a quality title that still is good from the day it first launched. I wish Cave would make an HD sequel!
