Core game is fun/interesting, but...

J.W.Colossal

Even for a free game, really obnoxious with the ads and attempts to entice you to pay money. Plus you hit what feels like a pay wall really early.

Multiplayer is flawed

Even with a high speed internet it would always lose connection and make you lose the match. Get it fixed.

Fun mechanics, broken currency

just a dude with a phone

For a free to play game, this app offers some pretty simplistic yet challenging game mechanics that will have you sitting on your phone for hours. It’s really fun to collect new wrestlers and try different combinations of teams and opponents. There is an inherent difficulty spike but it’s not impossible to overcome. Half the fun of the game is about skill and half is about blind luck, making it a really satisfying game when it works and really frustrating when it doesn’t. It’s this kind of RNG that makes it especially satisfying when you finally win a bout you’ve been stuck on after trying something new or finally getting your wrestlers strong enough. The only major issuesI have with the game are the currency system and experience scaling. Everything is ridiculously scaled so that you either have to buy in game currency or you have to spam special events or matches over and over just to be able to promote your wrestlers or find your loot. The game uses hustlebucks and gold. Hustlebucks are easy enough to come buy but there isn’t much you can buy with it besides the ability to improve your wrestlers abilities or train them. The second currency is gold, which you can get scarcely through the daily prize board, leveling up player experience, or through real purchase. The scaling of how much gold you can get and how expensive it is vs what you can buy with gold is insane though. There are packages where the developers offer a measly amount of gold / other in game boosts and tickets that costs up to $50! And with it you MIGHT be able to get a good wrestler out of it. If you’re unlucky then you’ll just get a bunch of pros that really aren’t worth much in the later stages of the game. The scaling of experience is also something that really bothers me too. Having to buy coaches for your wrestlers, again, isn’t impossible if you’re free to play. However once you get past level 40 on a high tier wrestler then it becomes nearly impossible to get their level to move without high tier coaches. Sometimes investing a 5 star coach for 20,000 exp will give maybe one level when my wrestler is level 40, where as it gave me 35 levels when I just promoted the wrestler. It’s really frustrating and coaches aren’t that easy to come buy unless the events show up for it, and sometimes it feels like the amount of experience you need to promote a wrestler seems so far out of reach. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy the game and playing it. I’ve invested a lot of time in the game because I genuinely enjoy how it works, and with time I’ve been able to get plenty of 5 star wrestlers and play through every championship.

Decent game, the frequent pop up ads are annoying

Awesome game. Please add more wrestlers

Decent yet ad heavy

Tired of advertisments

Decent game with great potential however the advertisements seem to be very heavy and get in the way a lot. A video ad pops up after every thing you do in the game and becomes annoying

Best of the free games

Let’s just be honest. Free games you either have to grind or chip in to make things easier. I mean the game wasn’t free to make right? Anyway I put in a few coins and the game has been great. I grind at times but it’s nothing like the WWF Games or other free to play games that require u to chip in every few weeks to progress. I’ve put in around $5 and after a month I can do really hard events, I’m on level 13 in the story mode & I have 3 5-star (top level) wrestlers. This is a game I won’t mind giving money to in the future because I know they aren’t trying to screw me every chance they get. In fact the only reason I haven’t spent more money is cause I feel I don’t have too. This game rewards you well

Seriously, I have seen greedy games but this one take the title

Most games: here is $1 starter pack to get you started. This game: $89 starter pack. Are you kidding me?!? This game is not even worth $1. It’s not that well made. But in all fairness, I can see paying $1 or $2 or even $5. I know it is hard to make games. And developers deserve to get paid. But $89?!?
