This is the free version. I think it's a great product- we have been using the multiplication, subtraction division, and addition programs. Even with the ads, which are only at the bottom of the screen, and don't really cause any distraction, it's really good program. It gives my son, who is 11 years old, and who struggles with math facts, a chance to practice his skills. It is really helping him.

When I typed in a number, correctly, it marked it wrong. Don't waste your time getting this app. It is wrong and sooooooooooo boring.

I've downloaded and previewed/reviewed about 35-40 math apps for ages 7-12. This app (free lite version) is very impressive. So much so that I will likely purchase full version after I let my child use it for a few days. *Pros: it uses the carry method and forces a touch of mental math (HUGE PRO in my book) It does not waste time over-gratifying the student for a correct answer with accolades (cheers, balloons, ducks falling from the sky) It is easy and logical to use, no training needed in my opinion *Cons: on lite version the ads at bottom sometimes lag the program; purchasing full version eliminates ads so that should resolve itself It appears to require network (WiFi) connection which eliminates use on devices like iTouch/iPad that are not in wireless range (have not tested this sorry I should have done so before posting this review!) It is a straight forward easy to use no nonsense app for students to practice multi digit multiplication. Very well designed, not distracting with frills.

I've literally never seen a user interface this bad. The application is bafflingly hard to use, and should be studied in cognitive science and ux courses as comic relief. For extra laughs, check out how a user is supposed to enter answers that are more than one digit. Shocking and hilarious. Good stuff.
