Multi Track Song Recorder is free iOS app published by Derrick Walker

Epic. Multitrack recording. This app should not be free. Sorry but it is true.

Triple 7 vs. a350

Really should not be free. Too good to be freaky free. Lol. I mean, play the chords to a song, plug headphones in and go to track 2, play back the chords to chosen song, sing along with the chords you just played, and you will be surprised how there's a musician in just about all of us, we just have to find that niche that works for us. It's a beautiful thing. Play back the first two tracks, use headphones and play the lead or guitar solo over the song you recorded. You got some YOUTUBE material now! :)

This app works great the first day I got it I made 9 tracks everyone who is a starting out singer should try this

Satisfactory

AznInvazon

This app is pretty good, and it's free. One small suggestion is the ability to crop tracks; I'm not sure if this feature exists already but if not, it would definitely help properly syncing each track together as I tend to have late beginnings or excess endings. Good app overall.

Great

Great aid in writing, love it!

Out of sync

TkMoniqueL

I created one successful recording. Everything after that was out of synch, which Defeats the purpose of having the app. Pls have this fixed.

Barely Functional

This app is supposed to allow you to record one track, then record another over the first one. There are a few problems that rend the app unusable: 1) the tracks don't even synchronize when you play them together. I played a guitar piece on one track, then played the same piece on the other track along to the first track to assure they were timed together. The synchronization is so off that sounded like an echo instead of two guitars playing at the same time. This is not due to the mic picking up the original track and creating feedback or a genuine echo, as I am using studio headphones. 2) the metronome doesn't even make noise while I'm tracking, so it's essentially useless for keeping time. You have to kinda guess when to come in. Not like that would matter since the tracks don't sync up. Useless.

Outta sync

Rarebasses

Liked it, but in the output file the tracks were always out of sync no matter what I did. Works good except for that and that is important!

Horrible

Fokuzx3

I've tried everything I can think of but there is still a delay in the tracks. When I record multiple tracks with vocals (harmony) it drags and sounds horrible! Please please fix this!!!!
