This isn't really a music making app--this is an app for having fun making music. Its whimsical interface is perfect for children and adults alike. I think it's particularly suited to kids and novices as most everything they can make with this application will sound great. There's a surprising amount of depth to the application, but it is not necessary to master right off of the bat. This app lets you explore. If you are a serious musician looking for a hardcore music-creation application and is used to the interfaces of DAWs and software synths, I can imagine that this app may just seem strange. I don't really think it's the best fit for you. On the other hand, if you want to introduce someone--a child or a novice--to making music by remixing; if you want to pique their curiosity; this is a great app for that.
