MSG Files are items like messages, appointments, etc. originally created in Microsoft Outlook.
With MSG File Viewer you are now able to open these files on your device directly from within other appliciations!
* View messages and notes
* Access appointments, tasks, meeting requests and import them to your calendar
* Access contact information: make a call, write an email or import the whole contact to your address book
* View file attachments or hand them over to other applications
* ONLY with MSG File Viewer you can also view embedded msg items
* MSG File Viewer can be launched from within any other application like Safari, FTP clients, Mail, Dropbox...
The app is only able to view about 10% of the msg files created in Outlook. No opportunity to obtain support from the developer.
Choose Export - Open In - Copy to MSG Viewer and will not open any .msg files saved to Dropbox. No instructions on how to work around this. No native app interface into Dropbox. Waste of money and time
Opens the message but doesn't retain any formatting and doesn't give the ability to do anything with it like open in another app to save it to a usable format. Still- less expensive than Klammer
Does exactly what I need it to do which is read files. I mean its a reader and nothing else. Not sure what the other dude is complaining about in terms of being able tondo other stuff
Doesn't work for me. I want a refund. How do I do that?
App does not embed with any other iOS App. Does not work at all. Recommend not to buy it before problems are solved.
App doesn't work at all. Does not allow you to open msg files from within dropbox, box, skydrive, or google drive.
App is read only but it does allow you to open files in both Google Drive and DropBox, it is not automatic however, you must press the folder that has an arrow, usually in the right bottom or right top of your screen to tell it what app you want to use to open the file! Great little program. I wish it was written to install on the Samsung Chrome Book as well. I would pay money to buy it!
This app don't work on Outlook Notes files stored in Dropbox in the .msg format. Works only on the three sample formatted included. Some what miss leading. If you could fix it to translate the Outlook Noted on the .msg format to work with stored files in Dropbox that would be great.
I would love this if I could get Dropbox to recognize the viewer on my iPad but it only works on my iPhone. For that I can't give it any higher than a 1.
