Mr Thorne's Maths Universe is the fifth maths app from Mr Thorne Productions, the team behind the Mr Thorne Does Phonics videos and apps which have had huge success on Youtube and the App Store around the world. I was looking for an interesting way to help my older son (10) learn and remember his times tables but this was really not interesting at all, it doesn't tell you right away if you got the answer wrong, you have to click the check button, there's no timing to it at all either. They made it sound like it was using visuals to teach the times tables, but it doesn't seem to use visuals to help in the learning, just random colored boxes. Too bad, a waste of $3.99.
