Disappointing app!

Took a chance on this app because it looked simple to use and just what I was looking for. Its not really free because it only records for about 2 minutes before message appears stating that in order to have unlimited recording time you must pay .99. That's fine but after making this purchase it appeared to be recording...but after stopping the recording & going back to retrieve it, there was nothing!! This was an important recording I was depending on!

We have downloaded and tried almost every recording app on the app store. This app is the only one which met all our needs. The in-app purchase options are great !... its so nice to be able try an app for free and then only pay for the features you need ;) The developer has clearly spent time thinking about making this app easy to use and really deliver a nice experience. There are a couple other recording apps that provide TRUE mp3 recording (most DONT)... but they are not free, so you end up paying either way you go. The difference is that this app has a far better design and lets you explore at no cost. Thank you to the developer of this app ! D

Opens with adverts and OK Google and no obvious way to get to square 1. Could not even find the locate a file and play it. Had it on my iPad for about 15 mins.

This app is great! Super easy to use and sound quality with a headset is better than Audacity & Wave Pro on my desktop. I emailed the files to myself, opened in Audacity & did very minor editing to get a pristine finished result. Best app I've downloaded so far.

Best free mp3 recording app out there for the time that it worked. Then, after a few weeks of using the app, the rename function went crazy. If you try to rename one particular file, a totally different filed will be renamed. I thought that the bugs were worked out, but I guess not. Too bad, because it is the best app out there otherwise.

After having some initially decent results with the app it has since been an enormous burden. Today while recording my alarm went off which, although it looked like everything was fine, secretly stopped the recording. So I re recorded the last half of my project. Then I tried to delete a small file and it deleted an entirely different file instead – the first half of my project. I'm so unbelievably frustrated that even after paying for this piece of crap it doesn't work at all. I wanted to like this, I really did. Unfortunately it has failed at its core functions and has no way of undoing its bugs regarding deleting random files which means I'm SOL. Avoid until there's an update at the very minimum.

I bought all the bells and whistles to have a flexible, easy to use, on the run recorder for music sessions. I found the controls to be obtuse, non-intuitive and in need of human engineering. It was hard to tell when it was recording and when it was stopped. Paint the screen red while recording and sky blue when stopped. Amber for Pause would be nice too but I could find no workable Pause control. Trying to name any of multiple recordings was unworkable. I finally had to upload them to Google Drive, rename them there and then download the renamed files. Several times it appeared to be recording but then there was no content and the file size indicated that nothing was recorded. It appears that there have been no updates since December, 2014 so it looks like I'm stuck with a lemon.
