Works great, well thought out!

I've been very pleased using this app. I've used others and I like this one the best. Solid! One request for the amazing developers would be to add chromecast ability :)

Great App

Michel0749

I use this everyday and it is best of breed for audiobook reading apps. I don't remember life before being able to speed the audiobooks to 1.2x. One request, please add some type of volume normalization or amplitude boost that you set in the app somewhere. Maybe per book. Many of my books are at different volumes and they are all quieter than my podcast app.

Cut several sentences at the end of MP3

Harkrrrr

The app is good except that for all MP3 files , it always cut off several sentences ( did not finish the whole MP3 file) and then jumped to the next mp3 file. Please fix the problem and I will revise this review!

Web browser download now unavailable

This used to be a great app until the latest software version update. The sole reason I use this app was so that I could listen at an accelerated playback rate MP3 files that I downloaded via the embedded web browser. The latest update removed that functionality. If that feature is not reinstalled in the upcoming updates I will be deleting this app as it will be no more use to me. Please please bring back this downloading capability! Please fix and I will revise my review.

Exactly what I needed

So far this app is great. I had a bunch of audiobooks in both MP3 and M4B. It was really disappointing that I could use the MP3 ones on my regular player. Getting the files to the player was actually really easy using the wifi option, once I figured out how to make it work

Me

Excellent app. It does everything i want and I am VERY particular. After the date they changed a couple of things. One being I could drag and drop from Windows Explorer and they took that away. The other option was to add file. Now that's the only way.

Warning!

Darvec

This is a horrid little "app". Mp3 audio book fans should stay well clear of it! While in the middle of playing an audio book, the player will lock you out of your book and display a message that you can not play further unless you pay money. This is ransomware. There are plenty of other players out there that are either free or honest and upfront about their price. Steer clear of developers with unethical business practices or at least know your book will be held hostage.

What the doctor ordered

Fits the bill perfectly to play audiobooks ripped from other media: premium version allows bookmarking, reading rate change (the best I've ever seen from .5x through 3x and every variation in between) and sleep timer. Plays files in multiple formats, including mp3s and m4b (audiobook version of m4a). Easy to load books through iTunes file sharing. I haven't tried the wireless method. Well worth the money for the premium version (which you can just purchase outright, but I got it free first, liked it, and almost immediately did the IAP for the pro features). Been looking for a solution since Audible discontinued the feature to play your own iTunes audiobook library and iBooks is inadequate. This is it. Highly recommended. Found this while trying to figure out how to play a library of audiobooks from a favorite author ripped from cassettes and CDs (not available on Audible - always my go-to).

Great features

I haven't tried the free version in a while, but its the one I recommend to my price sensitive friends. Love this developer and all the features for this app. If you like the app buy the full version and support this developer!

Love it

Great app for adding your own audiobooks!
