I was using Timebox to make several family journals. I worked on them for months, making sure they were beautiful and meaningful. Unfortunately this latest updated turned a unique and useful app, into yet another shallow automated photo journal. Here are some specific issues: 1. The updated app creates countless meaningless stories that are automatically generated with photos from the camera-roll. There is no way to turn this off, you just have to constantly keep deleting them, one at a time, though a lengthy and inefficient process. Lately I synced my photo stream with the cloud (Had to because of Timebox, more on that later). As a result the app created counless "stories" that do nothing but take up precious space on my phone, and take forever to delete. 2. The program crashes every time you try to copy-paste long texts into an entry. If you write long text stories yourself, the program cuts them, and you can only see them in full in edit mode. 3. I paid for device sync, but the app failed to log into the user, and never synced. With the new version sync is free but works only if you enable full iCloud sync of you entire photo stream. I've thrown my money away. 4. There's no longer an option to print affordable soft-cover magazine style books. Only expensive hard covers, and photo gifts. So it looks like I'll have to manually transfer all my life journals into a different app. Thanks Timebox!

I like the way the app organizes my photos for me. Certain key features I truly like. My only suggestion is I wish it would send me photo reminders without having to go in app. I prefer a picture notification that pops up to remind me of some great memories.

Can't use app unless you give it access to your personal calendar - no ability to opt- out, so I opted out of the app!

I don't understand why would you pay if there is another app does it for free and with unlimited storage space!

I always read the lowest reviews first to get a baseline. Often I find the 1 star reviews to be self-entitled people complaining just for the sake of complaining. But that is not the case with this app. Unfortunately the 1 star reviews are in the right this time. The app automatically downloads EVERYTHING from your camera roll and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn this feature off, nor a way to select a large portion of "memories" and delete all. Now, if you are a person who ONLY takes pictures of memorable moments, this isn't a problem for you. But sometimes people take pictures of unimportant things for the moment. Case and point, my eyes aren't that great, so sometimes I take pictures of menu boards I can't see very well and look at them on my phone. I don't need this to be auto-imported into my timeline. Now, sure, I can just delete that picture when I open the app again to reorganize my memories, but on first time use, it downloaded 7 years of photos. Seven years is a lot of clean-up time. Seriously guys, give us the choice to download our entire library if we want to. Don't do it automatically.

I'm a busy mother of 3 children, including a 3 month old and this is the answer to my prayers. I don't have time to organize photos to print out but I love being able to make these easily into a book and goes by date easily picks up from my iPhone. Right now my baby girls Months are all blurring together and I wanted to track her growth and changes and little memories each month to make a baby book but don't have time. This made it super easy!!!!
