Great code fun!!

neathings

This well done game will challenge your Morse Code skills or teach you the code. And surprisingly it's quite a lot of fun! Addictive too! Needs only a couple of minor enhancements to be 5 stars! Should be able to choose starting (or difficulty) level and be able to choose a different code game without quiting the application. The price may be a little high but that will take care of itself. For me, the game is worth it. Hard tp believe Morse Code can be fun, but here it is!! Radio Hams will love it!

Needs work

ZymurgyMan

This is a fun game, no doubt. It needs a button to return to the main screen without having to exit the game.

Needs a few tweaks...

Olde Boyz

A good app for learning. Needs a return to main screen on each screen you go to. Also no volumn control. Need to be able to turn the volumn up or down.

Good idea but needs a few things

1 while playing there is not anything that actually teaches you the next letter/number so you'll want to have the morse key next to you. Prompt with the new key to learn before each level with the character and morse code. Then it's an actual learning game and have each higher level go faster etc. 2 no home button in game. This didn't bother the dev while making/testing? I find it very annoying. I don't think I've ever had to leave a game so many times just to get back to the main menu. 3 pause does pause but if you leave the game at all you have to start all over. There some reason you can't pause and come back to your saved spot? Fix these things and I'd give it closer to 5 stars.

Great game! Very effective learning tool.

Graphics and interface could use a little more polish, but great game and very playable. I've learned more codes in half an hour of this game than in hours of "Morse Defender" (fun, but more about fast fingers than codes). Unlike another reviewer, I think it is fun that you aren't prompted with the new code each time one is added. I did not play while looking at a reference either. If you are new to morse code, it is better to play "Golden Ear" for a while before moving on to the other game. I found it easier to absorb new brand new codes in the "Golden Ear" game. Also, you might want to stick to "alphabet" until you've got that down. Numbers are long. I'd love an alternate input method for the games, where you could input code with short and long taps on a single button, instead of having two buttons for dot and dash. Also it'd be nice to have the option of the code automatically sending after a pause, rather than tapping the enter button, so you'd have to input quickly without pause. I suppose it'd some kind of variable speed or sensitivity control.

Crashes every time.

The third time I hit a button it crashes every time. I want a refund.

Great idea but poor execution

stupid nickname won't go away

Best approach to actually learn the code. But it is very very crashy on anything newer than a first gen iPhone. And when it does work, there isn't a way to skip past what you already mastered the last time and work on new letters.
