Morse Coach app is designed to help you learn and master your skill at morse code at various speeds.

Morse Coach uses the well known Koch method for learning morse code. The process involves starting with your desired end speed, instead of 'ramping up' with training. By beginning at your desired speed you are training your ear to 'read' at that speed from the outset.

You begin with two characters, and transcribe randomly generated patterns. When your accuracy gets above 80%, you move on to the next level adding another character.

So far, so good
Still exploring

I am only on level 4, but already I am starting to understand Morse Code! I haven’t yet encountered the problems that others write about, but so far Iam very impressed. The choice not to start at the beginning of the alphabet seems rooting in experience , so I alreadry feel that I am in good hands

This is a great app if you want to learn Morse code.

Great app. Very useful in teaching, I would just like to recommend that you make the period on screen a little bigger. When the level first starts, it gives you a list of all the letters you have done, and the period (.)is added in there. I honestly didn’t know that it was there until the = sign came in. I would like to recommend making that darker or bigger so that it is easier to see and identify. Other than that, it is a very effective app.

DOES NOR WORK AT ALL

DO NOT GET!!!!!does not let me check answer!bad game do not get?had to rate it so I cold send I wold of gave it 0 star.

Totally Useless to Me

App doesn’t allow user to choose levels. User MUST physically enter code stream for each lesson into app before being allowed to add more letters to practice playback. I want to practice listening WITHOUT writing anything down but this app won’t allow me to do that. Very poorly conceived s/w design. Override should obviously have been provided. Not even worth “free”.

Odd element timing

The concept of this app is good, but the sending sounds a little off. It’s as if a “dah” is two “dits” long instead of three, or something like that. It’s a little distracting. It sounds like someone using a straight key for the first time.

Don’t work

Can’t advance levels

No dit... Long Dah______

Tone will stall after advancing to the next level. Just gives a long tone instead of the dits & dahs.

Wonderful app

This is exactly what I was looking for! It slowly acquaints one with a letter and immediately quizzes you. Each quiz builds upon the letters just learned and previously learned. So helpful!

Good but annoying

I like this app - it's the only one I've found that I think will enable me to learn code. I think the Koch method makes sense, and an app that lets you type in what you're hearing and computes your accuracy is great. BUT, the annoying flaw is that it gives you just a few seconds to get ready, and in that time you have to tap the first character position to get the keyboard up and ready to type. I usually end up missing the first character trying to make this happen, and it's ANNOYING. Please make the app come up ready to accept typing, and it will get 5 stars.
