Good classic game with real challenge. For all those who think easy is too hard, try another version. This version is great for people with knowledge of the games strategy.

I defeat the program at the highest difficulty consistently. It does NOT cheat. Those who think it does cheat either do not know the rules of the game, or dishonest, or retarted. Grow up losers.

it could seriously use an undo button. I keep accidentally hitting the wrong square and getting screwed over.

Very nice graphics, fast thinking. Good to be able to turn the hints off as you do not get them on a board game, but probably good for beginners. I can still beat it in medium mode, but just. Been playing for years, though. Undo would be nice!

This is smarter than the games on Installer were. Unlike some, I want a challenge. This game can actually beat me on the hard level occasionally, even if I don't do something outright stupid. (it would be nice to have Undo for errors with my big thumbs) Some of these reviews are a joke. IDK, maybe I have an advantage as I've been playing Othello for nearly 30 years. This game is very good for a freebie, no doubt. Thinks too long sometimes, (20+ seconds) does it really take that long for the AI to come up with something? Took off one star for that.

A simple and well executed app... I play it a couple times a week. The hard setting provides a good balance for me (computers are capable of beating the best humans at this game). It occasionally spends an extended time thinking about it's next move, but nothing too hideous.

Good game but the AI is always "thinking". Sometimes I am waiting for it to take it's turn but it freezes up. Needs the bugs worked out.

I seem to be the rare person who actually finds this game too easy, even on "Hard" mode. I've played it now about a dozen times, starting as either color, and won handily each time. It's even given away corners on several games (hint: instead of trying to take as many pieces as possible, try to take as few as possible while not being completely eliminated and see what happens). Even without exploiting the AI, the fundamental algorithm is flawed by adhering to an overly agressive style of play. Then again, I could be the biggest Reversi nerd on the planet.

I think agree with you... I think u are a nerd but honestly that's a good thing because I'd rather be a nerd than be a stupid a••. Not trying to sound like a mom but good job!

Great game.. But absolutely needs an undo last move option for when u acidently hit the wrong space
