I loved the arcade moon rover game. This is a very pale imitation. The mechanics aren't good, jumping isn't like it is in the arcade and the paralax isn't right. It feels like this game was rushed. Let's hope the author improves the game, because I want to love this.

Just updated to 3.0 and was impressed with the improvement! This game is pretty addictive. Worth it.
Fun & Suggestion

I was so happy to find this game for the iPad. Graphics are top rate, simple but beautiful like original. Game play is smooth on my ipad 3. *Almost* as fun as the original. Two suggestions would make it better... A volume control and firing sound effects (as in the original). Otherwise, a great and fun game. Well worth the asking price.

Looks nice but impossible to jump over first crater without a crash. I am a veteran moon patrol player from the 80s and this one is cheesy.

As a former arcade junkie, this feels very much like the original Moon Patrol. Ipad game controls are the main difference.

Man this brings back memories! Great adaptation of one of my favorite arcade games of all time. Easy to use controls (once you figure out you can brake and speed up by tilting your device left or right). Hours of fun!
