We use moocho as a family and it has been a great way to leverage our purchases for goods like TVs, computers, gift cards and airline tickets (via gift card). Can’t give it 10 stars but would have.

Love this app because as a college student I get discounts and deals for using the app! I’m also extremely forgetful so I don’t always have my wallet so paying directly from my phone while earning points for prizes is def a plus!

Do not recommended. They won’t pay the restaurant on time. Every year there will be deposits missing for months. After several emails and phone call they still won’t get back to you. I will have to wait till they contact me.

Despite the slogan being “pay anywhere” there is actually just a short list of universities available. I go to a huge public state school and it wasn’t on the list. I really wish I could use this app... hopefully they expand that list.

Good concept bad functionality

I recently attempted to use moocho and was prompted how to use it by one of their sponsors due to me being a first time user. As I went to checkout using moocho rewards the cashier informed me the system was not working correctly, after “resolving” the problem I checked my debit account I realized it was all charged on my card without the $5.32 discount I was told about. When I brought this issue to the representative assisting me previously, he told me that I would not be able to receive the refunded amount and that it was because their was a internet connection although I had no trouble signing up in the store and proceeding to checkout. Safe to say this app is merely useless unless the employees and moocho representatives learn simple troubleshooting problems, as I was told that the discount “should’ve went through.” Better shape up soon or it will lose a lot of business.

What the man who signed me up neglected to tell us was that the computer at the checkout wasn’t working. Felt so bad for the Winn Dixie employees who were frantically scurrying about trying to mop up the mess mooch had made. Didn’t get the ten dollars off.
