Monument Valley 3 ??

When will there be a Monument Valley 3? My friend and I really enjoyed the first two and we you like to see another edition right away.

Soothe the Soul. Quiet the Mind.

Exquisite in its conception . Elegant in design. Visually and emotionally soothing. Cerebrally engaging without frivolous challenges. To the developers of both sound and content, please accept my deepest appreciation. The quote, “Some challenges require not the strength to hold on, but to let go” couldn’t have come at a more poignant time in my life. Your work helped a good soul reorient himself for the greater fight in front of him. Again, thank you.

Please make another

I love monument valley 1 and 2 they are both amazing games. I love how you can make your own shapes it’s a fun touch (even though mine always end up looking ugly). I love these games so much and wish for another to came out.

Barely a game

Monument valley is a fantastic work of art with anemic procedural puzzles and a boring overly opaque story. The puzzles are so easy that I hesitate to even call them puzzles. They are just too simple and one dimensional. There’s no way to complete the steps in the wrong order which means that you just move pieces around until you find the next configuration to make progress. The simple style of puzzle is made worse because most of the time spent in the app is just clicking somewhere on the screen and watching the little character move to that location. Then you beat the level and have to watch a slow montage, then another slow montage to advance to the next level. I think it’s particularly disappointing because the design of the world and the isometric perspective tricks required to solve some of the levels are so compelling. It’s just way too easy and requires almost no discovery or thought to solve 95% of the levels. After spending an afternoon to finish the game I find myself hoping that there will be another installment that’s more of a puzzle game and less of a point and click story app.

Perfect

Everything you want from a perfect game. Its really worth more than the price??

Lovely Game, great entertaining

I absolutely love Monument Valley 1 and 2. But the second one didn’t turn out great as the first one. The puzzles were kinda easy to solved, story line didn’t have any plot-twist. Well couldn’t expect more cause it was all about raising her child, taught her the very first step. Overall I still loved it, thank you for making such an amazing game. Can’t wait until Monument Valley 3 :)

Too short

I loved the graphics and the art and music but the fact that I finished the game in 3 days, kinda is a waste of money. They should make a free version with ads.

Just a pretty game with little substance

Having played the first game and seeing that they added a daughter of the main character to the game I expected a much more engaging and enjoyable game. Unfortunately the game is just a pretty background. Puzzles are too simple and took a lot less work compared to the previous game. A puzzle game without any puzzles is not a good game. I won't go into the story as it makes less sense than the previous game. The main issues are weak puzzles and the introduction of the second character brought nothing to the gameplay. The game feels like a long tutorial to the game that never shows up. This is a beautiful game from art to music but lacks in actual gameplay which is too bad as it had potential to be something much greater.

I wish it was like the first one

Like most of the other reviews this one was short and dull. Only took me around 2 hours to completely finish the game... which is a bummer considering the last one was more complex. Still a intriguing game but I don’t know it was just not what I had hoped for

Very Sweet

This is a sweet set of relaxing puzzles set to lovely music. The graphics are very minimalistic but beautiful. The puzzles rely on optical illusions, and while simple, are also clever. The game is a play once game, but for a few bucks, you get an hour or three of gentle entertainment.
