Lovely characters spoiled by poor controls

This app has so much good unfortunately spoiled by poor controls in the jigsaw section. The monsters are well drawn, make very cute sounds, and the story/counting is well narrated and very functional. But of course, my 18 month old just wants to put the jigsaws together, and this is where the frustration quickly mounts due to very finicky controls. Primarily: (1) have to be within a few pixels for the piece to snap into place, which is strange failure for something so easy to test, and so critical for a kids jigsaw. To see it done right, try Endless Alphabet. (2) when you miss a piece, it snaps back to its original starting spot. Doesn't drop where you leave it. Adds to frustration of point #1. (3) is not multi-touch, so while dragging a piece, if child's thumb or another finger touches screen, dragged piece snaps back to start position. This is the least forgivable mistake for a kids game, as accidental touches are inevitable in little hands. Really makes it seem they did little testing with kids. A few fixes (and some actual play testing with toddlers) could really help this app live up to its potential.
