Wonderful!

Beautiful expansion to an already excellent game. I've been eagerly awaiting this since I finished the first one, and it really delivers! Hope to see more in the future!

Fantastic follow-up to the original!
ItFromBit

If you finished the first set of Masyu puzzles and found yourself wanting more, then this is what you've been waiting for. The puzzles range from an 8x8 grid all the way up to 24x16. The bigger puzzles require a lot of zooming and panning, and the interface for this is smooth and responsive. Also, the new visual feedback you get when you make legal moves through the markers is a big help on some of the tougher puzzles. These puzzles are challenging and fun, and a great mental workout. All in all, a fantastic follow-up to my favorite iPhone app.

Looks good

I beat the original and just bought monster and bug. They look good and I'm glad they made this cuz they need more challenges and more level. Time to play! And buy it

Highlights the major flaws from the original package. (1.0)

The puzzles in this pack are much larger than those in the original. In the first pack, you might not have noticed how bad the zoom and pan controls were because you probably didn't need to use them. They're awful. This one is also much more uneven then the first. Some of the puzzles are incredibly rigid and the solutions follow directly from the local information. Others are so loose that you'll have to try tons of arbitrary moves to make even a little progress. This wasn't fun for me. It's almost as if they had a computer generate the puzzles and no one tried them. Global information in the large boards is scarce. It's still Masyu, and the first thirty boards are pretty fun.

ok stuck around level 43

yes stuck at 44 with regular Masyu and with Monster Masyu stuck around 43. I wonder if anyone is having same problem? I wish to solve these only with 100% logical thinking not trial and error.

Masyu Addiction Led to its Logical Conclusion
MarcNino

Just when I thought my Masyu addiction was over, Monster Masyu emerged and sucked me in again. There are some tough puzzles here, and this is about as big as Masyu puzzles can get before becoming too unweildy for the iPhone/iPod Touch's screen. After beating this, I found that my Masyu hunger had been sated, but it's a tasty meal while you're downing it.

Great Logic Puzzle ... Better Than Sudoku
JSON_Bishop

Monster Masyu is a solid expansion to the Masyu series. It expands the scope of the game to more compex reasoning, making it by far the most difficult installation. In short, the pkayer will have to see several moves into the future or do a lot of trial and error (difficult with only one checkpoint). I had to skip over #59 Balrog because I got stuck! The other puzzles can usually be easily solved in well less than 30 minutes ... #59 took me all day playing off and on though!

Volume 2 please?
QuilterHDQC

Excellent! Don't want to think of the time I've spent on these. Good right brain workout. Where can we buy another set of this level?

Monster Masyu Error
No thanks

Great game, but level 9 has an error. The white dot in the solved puzzle in the third row, fourth column should not be happy as it has no adjacent right angle. That puzzle shape is not really solvable. It makes me not want to try the harder levels unless they are verified to be error free.

More please

Great game, one of my favorites. I want some more challenging masyu puzzles, please release a new pack or app, thanks. Also there is no error on #9 (or any other level) the right angle on 3rd row 4th column is the black dot to the left of it. It may have accepted an incorrect solution but all of the puzzles are solvable. (I've finished them all)
