Monster Gumball somehow manages to reinvent the match 3 genre. It is a match 3 game, but the scoring system will have you strategizing in all new ways. As others have said, the graphics are also adorable and the controls and interface are smooth. It does sometimes seem there is too much luck involved, leaving me to feel like all my plans are pointless. I also find the learning curve tricky; I almost dismissed it as a children's game on the first few levels, then played happily for a while, and then got hopelessly stuck on level 13. I eventually broke through, only to get stumped again on the next level. I'd also love an easier way to figure out how the modifiers affect each other so I can figure out what I'm doing wrong.
