Sweet connecting to server message

Skip Deluca

Haven’t been able to play this game as the startup process is flat out nutso. Times out connecting to the server, when it does connect you get loading screens followed by more connecting to server messages.

Good game too bad

Game was cool until it wouldn’t load kinda disappointing.

Plenty of room to grow!

I know this game is super-super new, so I wanna talk about what can be done to improve so far. It’s cute and cool! The premise seems pretty interesting. However, as I played the prologue/tutorial, the text moved SUPER slow. To combat this, I would tap to help speed up the text. However, this caused older text to immediately go to the top of the (small) speech bubble where I couldn’t see it, and I didn’t have the ability to scroll back up and read it. Because of this, I’m already missing a lot of (probably vital) information on how to play the game. I don’t know what I’m doing! Eek! But it looks like it has so much potential! And I know things like this can’t be fixed with a snap of some fingers. It’s not terrible, at least!

Great game!

I saw this on the App Store last week or so in under the pre-order list and I thought I might check it out. Immediately from the art style and the idea of the game I was hooked. I’ve been waiting eagerly to play this game and so far I’m hooked. There’s a lot to collect and it is super satisfying progressing through your collections of dishes and monsters. Suggestion: Can you make your music track from the game available for download? I really like it.

Nice game, very funny

Can’t play

Alumon

Cannot even login. For guest option it keeps spinning forever; FB option spins for a while then tells you to tap the screen. When you tap the screen nothing happens

What do you do?

Maybe it’s just me, or this version needs an update, but there’s literally nothing to do. The app is extremely unreliable and only starts up a fraction of the time. I will say the art style and music are fun, but as of right now there is no game to be played.

Poor Servers?

Joecia Rutgéres

Forgive me for this long review. I pre-ordered this app weeks before its release, intrigued by the art style and the game’s concept. As soon as I received a notification that this app had been downloaded onto my phone, I stated the app immediately. Unfortunately, I have yet to play the actual game. All that I encountered in the app was minute upon minute of a screen that told me the app was “Connecting to server...”, with a pop-up gif of what appears to be a small small dice rolling around in a bowl. The start-up of the app was rough to begin with. When I first entered the app, it crashed immediately. The second time, it slowly brought me to the menu page where it gave me the option between playing as a Guest or connecting to Facebook. Initially, I tried to connect the game to Facebook. This is when I encountered the “Connecting to server...” pop-up screen. For a several minutes. Frustrated, I closed the app and reopened it right away. I tried to play as Guest this time, but continued to receive the “Connecting to server...” pop-up. I was very confused, and I figured it must’ve been my Wifi, so I packed up my things and moved closer to my router. Nothing changed. Still waited. And waited. And waited. I don’t think it’s a problem with my phone. My phone is an iPhone 7+, and all other games I try to play work just fine. After waiting for the server to connect, suddenly, the game connected. A character named SootSoot (I believe) began talking to me. He brought to a Pokémon-like field and told me to catch a monster. And then suddenly, the game turned black and quickly brought me to a different area of the game. It’s hard to describe, but on the screen was a small town with some big buildings. There was also a construction area with little SootSoot characters working. When I scrolled down, there were rooms underneath the city, underground. The transfer from the Pokémon-like field to the city was very abrupt and seemed as if it wasn’t supposed to happen. I went along with it anyways. Until I began tapping around the screen, the city and the rooms underground, scrolling up and down on the screen. Nothing happened. I did that for a minute or two, but grew frustrated again and closed the app. I kept the app untouched for a few hours or so. I just went back about 15 minutes ago, and this time I encountered the same initial problem: “Connecting to server...” I do understand that this is the very first version of the app available to the public, so I wasn’t too harsh on the rating, but I am very disappointed as I was pretty excited to play this game! I definitely won’t delete that app because I still am excited about the future of the app, but I sure hope you’ll be able to fix this problem soon.
