EPISODE 2: LAUNCH OF THE SCREAMING NARWHAL
Guybrush's adventures continue on the high seas as pox-plagued pirates lay siege to the innocent Mer-People. In between defending the Mer-People and dodging the persistent pirate hunter hot on his trail, the Mighty Pirate must focus on eradicating the Pox of LeChuck before more harm can be done.

It says it works, but in fact doesn’t as it crashes, as do the other Monkey Island ones.

I was reluctant to buy it based on previous reviews, but eventually caved because I missed the old Monkey Island I used to play on the amiga. The graphics are amazing, the puzzles are challenging, the characters are likable, and the jokes are funny. Couldn’t ask for more, and the price rules. I’m reposting this comment on the other episodes.

As much as I love the new back to the future games, monkey island is where it's at. Few things more awesome than sitting on the couch with my wife hangin with Guybrush while my wife watches some girly show. She's happy that I'm sitting next to her and not at the computer, and I get to play an awesome adventure game. Thanks Telltale! You guys rock!

Update: turns out that my iPad memory was almost all used up, and the app doesn't seem to like that. I deleted a video, and the app stopped crashing immediately. Played it all the way through, and I loved it. Thanks, Telltale! Old review: This app does nothing but crash when loading on my iOS 4.2 iPad 1. I launch it, the app shows the loading screen, then it shows a skull loading animation, then the animation flickers, then it crashes. It never even gets to the menu. TOMI 1 is my favorite iPad game so far. I'm sure the game is awesome and will deserve 5 stars once it is fixed, but I can't give it anything other than one star until Telltale fixes the crashing bug.

I am so in love with this adventure game series! I am almost done with all of them so I find myself pacing the time I spend playing so I can make it last. Only complaint ... Yes, is like the others ... Game is choppy at time so I have to shut my entire iPad on and off. But as the saying goes,"love conquers all!" Storyline, graphics and game play is a treat and stress reliever for me. Great game!

Looks great. Runs smoothly most of the time. Fun puzzles. Not overly difficult but great humor and good fun. One of the better iPad games. Plays well on iPad 2. Not sure about first model.

I was a skeptic on purchasing these new Monkey Island episodes. But the holiday sale price caught my eye and I just had to try this. I'm glad I did. Now I have to say I'd of never spent 6.99 an episode that's ridiculous. 2.99 is a much more appropriate price range. The gameplay is very good. Though it's slow at times and sometimes controls are a little strange feeling but that just takes getting used to. The charm of the characters is perfect and brings you into the series once again and making your inner child come out and hum the old monkey island tune in our head or out loud! Bring back your childhood memories and play this nice series. It is great to add to your collection. If only Lucas Arts could bring back Monkey Island from the PS2. That was another great game that should be on my IPad mony island collection. I know it's possible because look at Grand theft auto 3. Do it LucasArts!..for my collection!

I have been a huge HUGE fan of all the monkey islands since they first came out in the 90's. The storyline is amazing. The reason I am sooooooooo VERY VERY VERY disappointed is the terribly choppy game play. Between stuttering game dialog and intermediate freezes this game is really a sad representative of one of my all time favorite series! I find myself turning it off out of disgust many times in game play, that is not good. Please PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix it!
