I have been a subscriber since 2014 and I have successfully read about 11 magazines total. Support is NON-Existent. Another great example of why it’s better just to get your drumming news and interviews for free online.
I’ve been charged but I can’t see anything. It went from being able to view my purchases to now being forced to sign in but I never set a user name other than the purchase I made through apple store. Come on guys!! Just want to read the magazine.
I subscribed a couple days. Ago. It said would have instant access. They took my money but I still can't access any of the articles.
Unable to view past issues in the archive. App says unable to download at this time. App needs to be updated to fix this bug since I'm paying for archive access. I've tried reinstalling and no luck still. I can view current issue at least.
I have paid for the magazine subscription, yet can't see the cover or any of the advertisements. The app keeps telling me to use a "token," or to upgrade to see any content. What the hell is a token? Am I at the subway? I've already paid! I do not have this problem with any other magazine subscription. I can't even read the advertisements from vendors. If MD is unable to deliver all the content through this garbage app, then MD should at least do the right thing and email out a PDF of the magazine. I like to read the ads to keep up with the latest gear - non existent with the app. MD is also cheating their product vendors because the readers can't even read the ads.
This is easily the WORST update to any app I have ever used. There is no way a human could have tested and approved the layout of this app. They are lucky they are pretty much the only choice in drum magazines.
The app works exactly as described once you've generated a token by visiting the 'My Account' page of the MD website (per instructions provided in the welcome email.). Went straight to the first issue circa 1977 featuring Buddy Rich!!! Awesome!!!
