This is overall a great game for young children to learn new languages. The game is colourful, vibrant, and exhilarating for young children. The game is addictive which is also a plus. The only thing I would recommend to the creators is this. When you hit a donut for example the word "Ban" shows, hit another and the word "Na" shows, so on and so forth. Overall, this app is excellent and I recommend it to anyone.

This is a fun way to start learning a new language or refresh your foreign language skills. I typically get bored with language tutorials, games or apps but so far my entire family is loving this app. It's an extremely pleasant way to learn.

Missing Features

The concept is nice, but there are some major flaws for me. You hit the targets to sound out the word, and after all sylables it just shows you a small picture of the word. I was using the Spanish version, and I couldn't tell what some of them were. It would be nice to see the word spelled out in both the language you are playing as well as your native language.

I bought this app for my nephew but I ended up playing it several times before he got to it. It's really simple and very fun. The color is great. Reminds me of old school Sega games, simple and easy, but lots of fun, and a touch of new technology. I love that kids learn how to pronounce fruits and vegetables. Love it!

Fun But Not Without Issues

At first glance, the game seems like a bright, colorful and highly addictive tap-based shooter that also doubles as a language teaching app. The only problem I can find is that the sound DOES NOT FUNCTION on the version I have downloaded. No matter how much I fool with settings, I can't get a peep out of MOCHU SKY RANGER. It's entirely muted. So what I'm left with is a disposable shooter with no other value other than cuteness factor. Which seems to defeat the entire purpose of the app. However, this may be a quirk related to my antiquated phone (5C). Regardless, I can't fully recommend it but will say the price (free) is right to give it a download and sample for yourself. I can see how this app could be really beneficial if I could get it firing on all cylinders. Until then, I say see for yourself.

Glad I found this app as I am planning to study abroad in Italy this upcoming year. Mochu Sky Ranger offers a very creative approach to assist learning in the language of your choice. It is actually an exceptional way of memorizing new vocabulary words and does a great job at progressing your ability to pronounce certain words. Overall, highly recommended for anyone looking to pick up a new language.

The game looks really good i can give you few suggestions 1. Make each level for 1 kind of fruits, for example lvl1 berries, lvl2 tropical, lvl3 vegetables and ... 2. You can show each syllables when she is saying them 3. And show the whole word 4. Enemy can be related to what you are teaching instead of killing cute bat

This game is the cutest one in the App Store.

I don't have children but I wanted to have an educational game for my nephew to use and this one tops it. He loves this game and I must admit I love playing it to. He not only learns new English words but he learns different languages as well. Teaching them a different language while they are young can have a great impact on them in the future. I recommend this for people with children or for themselves if they just want something to play!
