You can only use this for a few holes and then it ends. I do not like to be deceived.

I have used the Mobitee app, as well as Golflogix's. I prefer the way Mobitee visually triangulated distances to landmarks, landing area and green. I also prefer the real video flyover from Mobitee, vs the animation provided by Golflogix. Both apps do a good job of tracking distances hit with clubs, and in keeping score. But, Golflogix allows you to keep other stats, like Fairways Hit. It also allows you to describe the direction of your fairway misses. Golflogix also gives Greens in Regulation. Mobitee doesn't, though you can figure it out based on hole score and putts. If this app gave GIR AND fairways hit (with direction of misses), I would DEFINITELY upgrade to the full version.

This isn't free. After a few holes it asks you to pay to continue using the app. So now when I'm tying to figure whether to hit a or 5 iron, this app tells me 'I won't go further until you pay'. I don't have a problem if it was paid - but tell me BEFORE I begin a round that I won't be able to track it until I pay halfway. Deceiving pricing tactics. Do not start a round unless you've paid - you'll be frustrated mid-round. 1 star for screwing up my round. Would have tracked it using Golf GPS instead which I use anyway but for some reason decided to try this. Bad move.

This Mobitee App does what it does pretty well and that is Golf GPS Tracking. I took this App for the 5-Hole trial run that it is allowing to use it for and I must admit that its accuracy is pretty good along with its ease of use. The scorecard interaction with its navigation makes it quite a compelling tool to have on the golf course. In fact, I was comparing it side-by-side to my long-time $9.99 AirvueGolf App. These Apps were within 1 to 2 yards of their measured respective distances. AirvueGolf is equipped with some basic stats, and graphing devices by comparison which makes a bit more statically oriented than Mobitee. Mobitee however falls flat on its face in the stats department because it does NOT HAVE a stats components (other than its skimpy scorecard). Additionally, I cannot input the golf course's hole handicaps although the App shows these hole handicaps at zero and yet the App seems to be placing some emphasis on the player's handicap index. There is no way to track standard golf stats that can measure your efficiency on the golf course such as: Fairway Hits, Greens-In-Regulations, Up & Down Saves, Sand Saves, 1st-Putt Distance just to name a few. So ss far as I am concerned, Mobitee does not justify a $29 Premium upgrade. Mobitee is just another GPS tracking golf App. Until the Developper comes up with these improvements, Mobitee is just another very expensive GPS App on an iPhone. Because I am currently the aforementioned with AirvueGolf and ScoreCard and I am willing to put up with their inconveniences in lieu spending this level Greenbacks on a golf App even by today's App's standards . Developers, you should consider lowering the price of Mobitee. Imagine a stats components with this App and mechanism to export in a spreadsheet such as a CSV file format? That could be the ticket for a "one trick pony" of a golf App... I hope this Review is helpful to those avid golfers that are shopping for a golf mobile app. Do Not Buy Yet!
