Can’t view my files in 360d mode anymore

This was my goto app for viewing 360d renderings but they seem to have removed the option! This app is now useless

flaky, unintuitive, and hard to use.

I have Google Cardboard and iPhone X. Since I got this app yesterday all I have been doing is fiddling around for hours, getting utterly counterintuitive results. I wanted to use it to watch regular movies while laying down in bed. Getting the basic screen and icons to even be reasonably visible and at a normal “distance” took hours of tooling about in settings by itself. The default settings based on the QR scan were awful, the screen looked far away and all text/icons were unreadable. Eventually I kinda fixed that after a LOT of experimentation. Importing files was next, and it is ... eh ... it will only accept MP4 video files (no MKV) and they are not organized intuitively. At first I couldn’t even find them because they aren’t where you would expect and there are too many folders. Finally thought I had things set, laid down to actually watch a movie .... poof, my head is too far back laying down, and I’m staring at the virtual theater ceiling. So I adjust the viewing angle to 90/ceiling ... and now I’m staring at the back of the fake “theater”, chairs behind me and the projection booth. Super. I press the button to center the view (which only even registers in the app like 5% of the time) and I’m staring at the screen again, but the movie is playing sideways now, stretched out. There was also a few tries where the whole screen was tilted 45 degrees leftwards for some reason, maybe something to do with the magnetometer setting. Nothing is intuitive or clear, and the in-screen commands that you activate by staring at them or pressing the button rarely seem to work. Half the time you can’t even find them because they appear in some weirdly out of the way place and you have to twist your head around like you’re in The Exorcist just to find them. Then they reposition further away again. They always seem to be too big or too far away, and adjusting various settings rarely does what you expect the adjustment to do. The app seems well intended but it is a complete nightmare to use or try to set up for even something as simple as watching a 2d movie. I can’t really recommend it.

Definitely not the most user friendly application but it gives the user the ability to view almost any visual media in a variety of formats and pull the files from a bunch of different sources. The app also customizes the visual output of your phone for both the individual user and viewing device so you get the most immersive experience. This is the best vr viewing app I have used in terms of user defined settings, designers job well done

This works well and the many configurable options makes it a very robust tool! I often use Plex and uPnp to view content. Sometimes I have to quit and restart to get the uPnp to work but once it does it’s very cool. The developer is very responsive and even added a cool FOV feature request.

Wish you could zoom in smoothly using a controller instead of going through a complex menu system. Pretty good with streaming and lots of options.

The best VR app i can find for iphone? other vr apps have browsers but need a bluetooth keyboard maybe you guys can do this but with an on-screen keyboard????? I LOVE THE APP SO MUCH I BOUGHT IT!!! Thanks for an amazing app ;)

App no longer connects to ITunes Store

Best App for VR Videos!

After spinning days trying to find a good VR app to play videos, I finally found this! There are a lot of configurations that can accommodate the various styles of VR video. There is a learning curve to working with this app, but it is worth it in the end to have one app does what I need! I really love the fact that I have full navigation without the need for a remote or having to constantly remove my phone.

This app is amazing! It supports streaming from the web or a home network, local files, and more! It is extremely customizable, well built, and bug-free. I only wish they would add support for .vob files, but this is not a huge issue.
