We got this for our wedding (signed up for the premium) but we are having multiple issues with the playlist features. I’m not sure what the problem is. We ticked the “highlight” feature and it only works occasionally. Mostly the playlist will skip a song, shut off or play the whole song. It is very frustrating and I’ll be frantically trying to troubleshoot before Saturday.

I love the overall app which is one of few that integrates with Spotify streaming. Mixes came out great. I would like to be able to customize when the next song starts and see the next song in que on the same screen.

It’s a good app for making some mixes in my playlist, only thing I think would need more improvement is for better highlight transitions, and Apple Music support, but other than that good app ??

This concept is fantastic, it plays the strong parts of your dance tracks and does a pretty good job of mixing genres depending on your pre planned playlist. However, it crashes on my iPhone and iPad quite a bit. I’d say every 20 min it will crash and hopefully the developers will fix this. I can actually see someone using this to DJ with this but the crashes would wreck your career for sure. The layout color is nice but way too confusing for how simple it could be ( can’t tell what is a clickable button and what isn’t and back screen is confusing to figure out, also it could use a dark mode. I love this app, when it works, but I refuse to pay a regular monthly fee when they would be better off with a one time higher fee. I’d pay that but not for any app that crashes as much as this does. Offer a one time fee and I’ll wait for it to get better through updates.

I tried EVERYTHING to “download and sync” my music. Over 3 hours and nothing. Save yourself the 3 hours!

I think the problem with most DJ apps when they use AI. Is that they base the transitions based on time during initial transition. The problem with this method is that can be literally anywhere on the track. More often then not, the transition starts on an odd bar or measure (1,3,5,7,9,11…) vs (2,4,6,8..). It sounds odd when the transition just starts from anywhere. If you could model the app to detect the start of a chorus or the beginning of a 32 bar phrase this would be a HUGE step into making this into a better app.

As a professional event DJ that knows how to mix and beat match… this app is so cool! It was so fun trying this out with my playlists and see how it works while driving or working in the office. After a few hours of listening, it does an excellent mix about 80% of the time. Sometimes it fails to figure out the song highlight and plays the song in full, which may or may not be because I was driving and my phone’s data was all over the place. (And of course I’m being safe while driving so I’m not bothering to check why it happened, just observation by listening). Other times, the highlight is there and it will transition, but will go to 0:00 mark of the next song, which will sound like the first song is fading out to nothing, then the next song just starts abruptly. This didn’t happen often, and again this happened while I was driving on the highway, so could be a data issue? BUT, when this app works properly, it KILLS! You will thoroughly enjoy it if you like music. There are some times that the transitions start at awkward parts, like switching songs right before a drop, or right before a chorus starts. This is understandable as I’m sure programming an AI to learn the choruses and drops and song structures is incredibly difficult. Maybe if the app and community grows more, a feature can be implemented to crowdsource where the highlights should be from certain community members or PRO members? Like if I hear that a transition happened to soon or too late, I can hit a button, pause the current mix, go to the songs and edit on waveforms where the transition should start. That’s a long shot, I’m sure, but thought I’d throw it out there. Either way, very impressed with the app as it is and I’m sure improvements will continue to be made. Looking forward to future updates, great work!

The app does a great job mixing. It is lacking one thing that I love using when playing music and that is it does not show the lyrics.

I have never left a review on an app ever before, but as a music lover, I have been looking for an app to do this exact thing for sooooo long. This lets me make a playlist that mixes the song for me so it has that DJ feel without me having to do the work! I love what this adds to the vibe of the music! The monthly price isn’t bad. As long as that never changes, they have a customer for a longgggg time.
