This app only allows sharing of files and video, not the screen. Especially need to be able to share screen at the same time as webex (which works).
… in fact this app is mostly useless as it is unable to share your iOS screen to the receiver. So unless you use it’s built-in browser, you can’t share another app (like OneNote, etc) to the projector at all. If it’s not going to have anywhere near the same functionality, why use the same program name, unless the intent is to confuse, at best.
Why is it limited to projecting only a small handful of apps? It would be great to be able to project the Webex teleconference app.
Finally got it to connect to my iPad, and that’s where it stopped being helpful. Tried to use the ‘browser’ - it sat and thought and thought and thought. Tried to ‘present’ a video. Black screen. No sound, nothing. WORTHLESS.
Overall the app does what it is supposed to do. The devices need to have better AirPlay functionality so that the app shouldn't be needed. Regarding PresentSense, it works, but if you have multiple WePresent devices in close proximity, the app will automatically connect to the one it finds first, not necessarily the one you want. The app needs to default to showing a list of PresentSense devices. These devices should be searched for as the app is launched and immediately presented to the user instead of having to go to Options -> Devices for the discovery to start.
Computer version allows you to project everything on the computer screen. I can even use Google Earth. No such luck with this.
