Not even worth the free download

Sit down and grab some popcorn, you're going to be here a while if you bother reading the whole thing. First of all, the layout is terrible. The background is constantly changing from one low-resolution photo to another. It gives you the option for some reason to swipe and change the background yourself, but it'll change two seconds later anyway, so what's the point? There are 8 services available through the app. I clicked on "Class Schedule," hoping it would allow me to input my own personal class schedule that I can save and use as a reference. Nope. It just sends you to the district's web page that allows you to see every single class that is being offered in a very tiny, inconvenient format. "Campus News" appears to be useful and user-friendly, until you realize that there is absolutely no logical order to how the articles are displayed. First is an article posted 2/16/2016, followed by ones from 4/4/2016, 4/5/2016, and then 9/16/2015. I'd love to have read the announcements, found out what the academic deadlines were, or see what events were going on around campus except that there was nothing to see but "We are sorry, but there is currently no content available for this feature. Please check again later." And when I went to look at the "Course Catalog," not only do they have the 2014-2015 catalog while it's the fall of 2016, it's a 416-page PDF that you have to completely flip through. No search feature, no quick scroll. Who wants to do that? I will admit, "Student Services" is decent. It lists the various services in a fairly user-friendly way. Not perfect, but better than most of the app. The "Campus Map" is actually effective in that they've posted the "drawn" map over a Google Map of the area, giving the viewer actual perspective as to where they're at. This app is absolute garbage and is an insult to the intelligence of the students who try using it. They're better off using whatever internet browswer of choice that they use on their mobile device, or even finding the nearest desktop computer. If the college paid even $1 for this app they overpaid and were ripped off. Hopefully this was a student app developer's donation to the school in exchange for some recognition, but it probably wasn't. Until it's fixed, don't even waste the limited space on your phone.

Improve the app

The only thing decent is the "Student Services." App need to be consistently maintained with campus news, clubs, calendar events happening around campus and throughout each month!! Where's the announcement or academic deadlines that pertains to scholarships, FAFSA, add/drop deadline, etc... Add a link to Clubs, that's important to spread the word about clubs on campus that students may be able join. Add a link to Blackboard so we can check our grades, maybe even reg e so we can pay fees, add/drop classes, e-grades, etc.
