I loved playing this game growing up. Now I can re-live all those memories of selecting the bomb. This is a must have game.
This is a great port of a game that takes me back many years! It's all connected up with game center and it goes nicely with iOS 7. Great game!
As a child, I grew up with a Windows computer. Before the advent of tablets, online gaming, and other technological advances in the world of entertainment, two things used to amuse me: Minesweeper and MS Paint. I used to watch my father open up a massive grid and artfully click and place flags, clearing the board in record time. I would be in awe and try to recreate this feat on the beginner board, only to die on the second click. It took me quite some time to grasp the rules of Minesweeper, but when I did I fell in love with the simple strategy game. Fast forward in time, and everyone seems to play these quick types of games on their phones and tablets. When I found Minesweeper Plus, I was very happy because it replicated my favorite quick, no-frills game. When launched, I was greeted with the familiar smiley face, gray grid, and timer system. Minesweeper Plus offers two modes of play: normal and quick flag. Normal mode allows you to tap on the grid and open a square. When you tap the flag in the bottom left hand corner, a tap will mark that square with a flag. You can also play with quick flag mode always turned on, and a long press will flag a square. One thing to note; the question mark isn't a default option and needs to be turned on in the settings. If you want to use this feature, don't forget to turn it on! Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Custom mode are available, and the app allows you to choose different themes if you aren't a fan of the retro look. Overall this app offers a nostalgic take on a timeless classic. Not too many "extras" are added, aside from the different themes, but it doesn't matter for a Minesweeper fan just looking for an app to relieve memories of the past. I highly recommend this app for anyone looking for a fun and simple time passer!
This is a nice game, it take me back to my childhood and it doesn't lag, i'd recommend to anyone that enjoys games like this.

the flag button sits on top of one of the tiles, and it partially obscures a couple other tiles. This interferes with gameplay and is a bad design choice.
