Mines of Mars is a procedural atmospheric mining game that is inspired by games like Metroid and Motherload.
It is also a story based adventure game with dark secrets, great weapons, tons of different items, and a gorgeous world to explore.
The world of MoM is procedurally created, so that every time you play it, it will be a little different.

It’s an okay game

The combat is a bit plain but you do get to mine and kill. Once you advance through the game you do get cool gear and you can kill larger monsters! :)

Gameplay is fun, and scenery is great. Controls could use some refinement, and the distribution of resources leaves a bit to be desired. Overall, great bang for the buck!

I binged on this game for several hours. Only to come back the next session to see there is no auto save and all of my progress is reset.

An atmospheric, fun, unforgettable exploration based mining game set on the red planet! I really recommend this game, I assure you it's worth the money! Also if you want to try it for free there is a free "demo" version you can download. Awesome game!
