The app has been slowly going downhill, but just recently they unexpectedly got rid of comments all together and shortened the length you’re allowed to use to create a description. Three years ago I would have recommended the app, but now I can honestly say it’s just a waste of money and you’re better off using Skinseed.

I joined the app 4 years ago. Back in the old days, you could like comments, talk for hours, and hold contests. The devs of this app created a safe space for so many people. I’m in college now, and dang. I came back to the app after a year or so break and my heart broke. Comments were gone, no more contests, & skin descriptions were absurdly limited to less than a sentence or two. My friends that I have grew up with online could barely contact me. Skin uploads are super late too. When I joined, skins you uploaded showed up on the page in 5 min tops. It takes on average about 2 hours now. (And there are less people on the app now than in its highlight! There is no excuse other than to limit people from talking back and forth. They stopped comments & skin disc talking.) Thanks chappers, but you butchered your safe place. Maybe this is temporary and maybe I’m taking this too seriously, but dang. My childhood was gone. I’ve been featured, tagged, and I’ve even talked to the dev personally. I still like making skins, so I’ll keep uploading. Get it together. I liked the annoying pop-up era better than this one.

Now they’ve shortened the discs. Human interaction is literally forbidden. Chappers, why? I can’t talk to my friends and a bunch of em are leaving. I’m gonna miss MSS, y’know. It used to be great.

This skin app is really good but i saw that the last history update was 2 years ago . There’s a couple glitches and idk if it’s because i have an iphone 11 pro and this app only has updates for an X . something new that would be cool if you can add being able to chose different opacity when applying a color so that it can tint whatever color is already on . Please add new updates ? this was my favorite app to use when I was younger
