Really enjoyed, wish it was longer.

I love the game. It was challenging but not impossible and the writing was very entertaining. I would def. recommend this game!

Moving

There has never been a finer example that pixels are just a canvas for what can be a moving and emotional story. I am just getting started, and it is such a touching presentation of what a girl's life could be like on the mountain. And, so far, we are missing some of the annoying aspects of the classics - red herrings, pointless deaths. A retro game that would have fit in well in the King's Quest era, but with subtle modern effects like moving clouds and a real piano and classical guitar moving soundtrack. The attention to detail and frequent shifting of perspective is reminiscent of Another World.

would've been 3 stars if the ? didn't die

Entertaining Short Adventure Game

Excellent game! It was fun discovering the story that unfolded as each puzzle was solved. I got stuck in one spot and had to resort to a walk through for a hint. The gameplay works well with a touch-based interface. The graphics and story are simple but that did not bother me. I wish the game had been longer but still feel satisfied with the experience I had for the price. I would buy a sequel should the developer choose to make one.

It could have been a bit longer but it was still really fun to play.

Good with some flaws

Good adventure game with some memorable characters and scenes. The music is excellent, and the art (especially the character animations) is great. I found the rhyme gimmick cloying and distracting, because it didn't follow any meter, and a lot of the text in the game was awkward and forced to make it rhyme. Some of the puzzles are a bit random (btw, why do the most random puzzles always involve frogs?) and it's made a little worse because sometimes you have the right idea but you dragged the item to slightly the wrong place. But that's sort of par for this kind of game. Overall, I definitely enjoyed it and recommend for adventure fans. One bug I encountered was Ruth getting indefinitely stuck when she was auto-running down the ramp in the engine room at the end. Fortunately it worked after force-quitting and loading a save.

Amazing game, nowhere close to lame

The art style is stunning, nothing worth shunning. The story is very complex, same with all all the rhyming text. The sound track took me by surprise, just listening to it was a prize. I'd recommend this game without a doubt, it certainly didn't make me pout.

A "MUST PLAY"!!

Tremendous, pixelated 2D art, a wonderfully evocative soundtrack, really well-done UI & great storytelling. What more could you possibly ask for?? A fine graphic adventure in the tradition of the legendary LucasArts® classics. If you like "Paul Pixe", you'll LOVE this! Get it NOW!

Classic adventure style

Oh man oh geeze

I grew up on Monkey Island and King's Quest, and I really enjoyed this great little adventure story. The art was cute and the rhymes amused me. Great job on this story.
