MileIQ is excellent!

JNGinFTL

MileIQ makes it super easy to keep track of my business miles. No more logging my miles in a notebook. It helps me keep track of the wear and tear that my business-related driving has on my car and it definitely makes my life much easier when tax season rolls around. I highly recommend the MileIQ app for others who use their personal vehicles for business-related purposes.

Even I could figure it out!!

Being technology challenged, I was worried about using an app for something as important as keeping track of my business mileage. But no worries! This app is super easy and foolproof!

Lifesaver

MileIQ is a lifesaver when you drive for work like I do!

Great at start but having problems

AmyinBuckeye

Short drives often don’t register. Also, the app used to remind to log my miles after a drive and stopped. I often get behind in classifying my drives now.

Barely works, no support, hides data

CrossCompiler

Good idea, implemented in the worst way. Likes to chain drives together so I end up with, e.g., Home -> Home. Asked ‘Support’ and got a rude, off-topic and usless reply. I want to bill customers based on time as soon as I get to the next stop or back, but for that they force you onto an even worse web site or an email format that does not list drives (only segments) and is in a roughly 2pt font with 99% wasted whitespace. When labeling a drive you are forced to label each segment individually, even when going from A to B back to A. Has not been improved at all in well over a year.

Not impressed

I was excited to try MileIQ because the idea of tracking all my trips was a time saver, or so I thought. I love my previous mile tracker but it is keeping me from updating my operating system on my phone. Mile IQ tracked everything - my walks, my bike rides, everything. That's annoying. If we stopped for any length of time, it ended the ride. For example, I drove an hour away, stopped for gas, ran an errand, & then arrived at my location. Instead of that being all one trip, I had 3 trips plus my return trip. There is no way to combine them into one trip. That makes reporting mileage for taxes a pain & takes 3x as long to name the trips. I think it looks more fishy too. It also does not provide the amount of details my previous system does. I'm so disappointed. Going back to the previous way after I attempt to write down my mileage.

Surprised

Olpro41

All these years I underestimated the amount of money, time, distance and money I was spending traveling to work and back. This app is saving me a bundle.

Extremely helpful

I’m here to recommend this application for everyone it’s really easy and helpful

Solid Tool for record keeping purposes

nofrontplate

This a reliable tool for record keeping that supports expense tracking and tax return preparation. The only adjustment I would make is to enable a long trip with multiple stops (for fuel, rest, meals, etc) to be automatically retained as a single trip and not broken up into multiple, shorter trips. Also I would add an audible signal to alert that the trip tracking is on at the beginning of every trip. This will remind the user to shut down the app when tracking is not wanted.

Super easy
