Fantastic take on TD

This game is a very welcome departure from the typical TD. At first it reminded me of Dungeon Defense (attackers can destroy your units but they regenerate), but I find it to be much more strategic than that because of the interesting maps. Maybe delay the advance of the enemy with your infantry and rain death from across the river with your archers, or put your cannons behind your camp wall as a last "F--- you!" to anyone who breaks through your defenses. The "commander" feature is cool though so far I've had a tough time recruiting more than just one. It does get very tough very fast, but I'm convinced that with the right unit placement and upgrades (the upgrade tree is rewarding as well, though I wish you could get gold easier) that victory can be achieved. This is my favorite game out of over 150 apps on my phone.

In order to unlock a commander, you must upgrade your fortress to castle, which costs a lot. Every gold you invest in the castle is a gold you can't use for vital defences. The game is already challenging, even on easy, and the added challenge of conserving money makes this a very difficult game. I really like everything about this game, the artwork, the sound, the interface, and the gameplay.
Good but could be better

Love the gameplay and visual artwork but could be longer. On the map it looks like there are two more missions to be unlocked but the areas are just for visual representation. Overall great game. Need to configure a strategy so I can get the castle and unlok new generals.
Amazing Game, but...

It is hard even on easy! I have tried the final stage on easy over 10 times and still lose on chapter 5. Also, better explanation of how to obtain Generals would be great. All I saw in the tips was: "Beat a Giant Demon for a chance to recruit a General". I NEVER saw a gaint demon and that was after over 5 hours of play. I would have never known you had to upgrade your base to the highest level to make one appear until I read it here. Please tone down the difficulty just a little?

i beat all levels easy, normal and hard but still, i only have one single commander to choose from. there are only 4 maps available! unless it gets a massive update, it's not worth 2.99

My favorite TD game thus far. Definitely challenging, though I would like to get a commader thus far this prize has alluded me. I would recomend but once you start it's hard to put down. CAUTION: WARNING: may monopolize too much of your free time and or cause problems with your significant other!

Over all i thought this was a great app. the art design was sweet but it could use some more details. more towers, more castle upgrades, and other stuff. but overall great app!!!!

This is a fun game! Needs to be easier though: easy difficulty should actualy be easy. Make it easier to get more commanders. I am on the last level and cannot beat it. Add more places. And more units. Be able to have multiplayer and different sides! More enemies!
