The game is pretty fun at first. You’ll get a good hour out of it, because that’s as long as it takes to burn through the low energy pool they give you while the dungeons cost 6-8 energy. And if you can get past that, you hit a power level wall unless you get lucky on loot from the chests.

Only rating 1 star for developer attention — THIS IS A GREAT GAME!

I played the original mighty quest for epic loot on PC years back on steam, or trough humble bundle maybe? Can’t remember. But it was blast, although incredibly unbalanced. They’ve spent years polishing the franchise into this mobile gem and I’m hopelessly addicted to it. There are some pretty outrageous micro-transactions, like $50 for a full set of gear (that’s only 3 stars. At least make it 5 stars ?), but there are also much smaller $1~5 that are actually reasonably priced for what you get. The only reason I’m rating this one star is because I have no care for the game’s music (although it is good) but it will NOT let me play Spotify in the background. Disabling in-game music with the slider does nothing to remedy this issue, and no other app/game causes this happen. It’s killing it for me, please fix ASAP and I’ll give 5* :(

One of the best games on the App Store.

I’ve really found myself dug into this game. There’s enough of a gameplay loop and feedback that it’s enjoyable for a quick 10 minute session to an extended period of time. I only have two REAL gripes about the game. 1. Some of the extreme levels seem dang near impossible to beat under a minute. This comes from enemies not spawning in on time, gates not registering, etc. which makes you back track and lose time. Would love to see some of the “1:00” bumped up by 30 seconds at the most. 2. There’s no safe guard to spending gems. I’ve lost thousands by getting too excited and the game lagging and I spend 500+ on something I really didn’t want. Would love a simple “Are You Sure?” screen. Other than that, this is a quality, free, mobile game that I didn’t mind dropping $7 for the season pass. Keep up the good work!

Numerous crashes

Switching between the menus cause the game to crash. Finishing a quest has a chance at crashing after going back to the gear screen. Fun game but the constant crashing is bugging me.

Cannot have background audio

Simple. Game looks very good but you cannot have any audio going in the background (music/streams). Hope this is a simple fix, would love to try this game.

Cheap reboot of the original

SunnyBunny01

The fact they brought back this legendary game and left out the key element of base building is disgusting

My favorite game ever

Wonderful game but...

Thank you for reading this in advance, its a amazing and entertaining game, it has comfortable controls and gear but, the current tutorial system is slightly overbearing, as some people are more comfortable with tutorials similar to Bethesda’s games, so more like advice on various subjects, would be nice if the tutorial were optional to play at any time, or maybe if there were some sort of in-game index to help with certain things that we might not be able to figure out ourselves, for certain people such as myself and a few friends, if a tutorial is longer than just several minutes, it begins to turn into a turn off for any motivation to play because we feel like we’re not getting any closer to playing the actual, game thank you for spending time to read this review.

Mighty Quest is truly a delight to play. It plays super well for a mobile platform game. The artwork/animation is pleasant to look at, and the minimalist combat system makes for enjoyable and addicting gameplay. Some pretty sweet gear to loot, and a fun, comical storyline to follow along with. What’s not to like, right? I only have a couple small issues. Any gear within 1-3 stars becomes pretty useless pretty quick. Yes, you can still use it to level up your better gear, but when these items are consumed they don’t really do much to level the superior weapon. Also, it felt like this latest “skeleton key” event was geared pretty unfairly towards the “pay-to-win” gamers out there, but I digress. All in all I’m having a great time playing Might Quest for Epic Loot. Pick It up and give it a go. You will not be disappointed with this one.
