Too hard to be easy to use

KSBarn

Visually, this app is beautiful. The text is clean, the bars unobtrusive, the buttons big and obvious. But there are too many problems that make this app not as minumalistic as it tries to be. The first and foremost problem is the removal of keyboard shortcuts. Double-tapping the spacebar doesn't make a new sentence. Putting in a comma, period, or apostrophe doesn't reset the keyboard. There are no obvious options, so it's not easy to change.

Pure writing and tagging app

galtenberg

Truly lovely Dropbox-centered note and tag app. Simple and perfect. Text focused, no bells and whistles, just pure writing and tagging. Wish list: Import multiple separate notes from a single document; a strict tag filter (notes have to match all selected tags, not just one); export/email current result set

Gorgeous

Much better looking than Fetchnotes. I love the layout and design executed within the UI. I'll be purchasing the unlimited notes option. Looking forward to seeing how all the (few) bugs and links are worked out.

Great idea... some limitations

Dazamatic

exactly what I was looking for. in-line hashtaging. But.... unlike workflowy it does not preempt tags as you type them. Soo you end up with multiple similar tags eg. #tutorials #tutorial #Tutorial etc. then all these tags show up in the tag search. annoying. m and to top it off.... after adjusting the the tags to be the same.. the old unused tags remain!! I want it to work as the idea is flipping puuuurfect
