Excellent App! I'm glad to finally have it available on the iPad.

Excellent

I use it every day. There is nothing else available outside JPL itself that gives such a quick, accurate, and immersive experience of what the rivers are up to on Mars.

Amazing

Tab25

Downloaded this on a fluke because I am avid follower of the Curiosity mission and was surprised by the depth and design that this app possesses. Wonderful job developers.

Cool beans!

The App is spectacular! Next best thing to actually being on Mars!

Exploring mars

This app is so well thought out, and very useful and entertaining. Thanks mhoward!

Makes you feel like you are on Mars

Robphoto

Very intuitive. Without any training at all you can immerse yourself in looking around Mars. You choose where you are looking and the app automatically finds all the pictures and creates mosaics. You can also zoom in and out. 3D using blue cyan anaglyph 3D glasses is also available. I just think this app is cool.

… Than you'll ever see on a PBS program or on the pages of a science magazine. Wickedly beautiful Hi DEF imagery. We tootle about, here at home on Earth, while technical marvels rome foreign worlds. Turn off your reality television show and tune-in to apps like this.

Great way to explore Mars "on foot"!

Jeresaur

This app is an excellent resource for 3D viewing of the Martian surface as seen through the "eyes" of Curiosity. Day by day, or sol by sol viewing points, where the rover takes photos or samples, all linked via a navigable travel path. Very customizable as well. Simply put, everyone should be using this.

I love this app!

Only better way to explore Mars would be to go yourself!

Just what I was hoping for!!

Alpha 5000

This app is beautiful! There is so much that this app offers in the way of perspective that a single or panorama picture can't give. The 3D environment is such a great help in knowing where the rovers are and the track showing where it's been and where it's going is awesome! I was already interested in in watching what the rovers do in other apps but they only give pics and panoramas, this app has peaked my interest and I'm always anxious to see where we are roving to next!! :) Only improvement I can see is if there was a satellite (MRO) over head view with tracking so I could tap on a particular location and get to a site of interest that way also. That way I wouldn't have to go between this app and JPL/NASA website to see overhead tracking but definitely not a big deal. Also, I didn't see a way to save pictures to my camera roll which would be very nice. If you love keeping up on the mars rovers this is a must have app. Exploration at its greatest!!! Thank you Midnight Martian!!!! Important update!! I've had this app a while now and the cool factor is off the charts! I'm still amazed every time I crank this app up! Love it! Also a recommendation is to buy an iPhone to hdmi cable to your television which makes it even better.
