Great story but....

I don't like having to purchase the strategy guide separately. And had I known there was no additional gameplay in the bonus content, I wouldn't have purchased that extra. The game itself was very good.

Loved the game. Some tasks a little confusing due to order of scene. A lot of historical facts threaded in storyline. I have lived in Salem, Mass. twice. Tons of witch and East India Trading history to see and do!

Mumbo Jumbo does with perfection what other game creators do with mediocrity. Their concept and game design is spectacular! The text/dialog is intelligent and artfully crafted. Their stories are an exquisite work of historical fiction beautifully woven together from threads of historical fact and related classic literature. The way the literary biographies entwine with the lives of their character counterparts is nothing short of genius! The gameplay is second to none. The graphics are beyond breathtaking and, along with the music, integrate seamlessly with the story. But it is the sheer artistry of the storyline itself that makes this the MOST EXCITING, MAGICAL game experience I have ever encountered. I would give this game TEN stars out of five, were it possible to do so. Mumbo Jumbo: PLEASE, PLEASE keep 'em coming! Each game is a unique and elegant work of art, and unfortunately, they have elevated my standards to the degree that I find similar games from other developers to be greatly lacking by comparison. Is Edgar Allen Poe a possible contender for one of the literary authors? I know there was casual reference made to him in the first game. With the utmost respect, Logic Lunatic

I'm an avid Big Fish game player, but wanted to try something new. I was not disappointed at all. Wonderful graphics, great story, fun mini games and varying HO scenes. Well worth the money, and I will certainly be looking for more Mumbo Jumbo in the future!
Great game but expensive

Really enjoyed the graphics and game flow. Definitely challenging. Expensive by the time you get done buying the strategy guide if you need it (and I did need it).

Enjoyable game with an interesting historical component. It has a nice balance of story, HOG, puzzles, and analytical work. Didn't need to purchase any extras. There's an online walk through you can find. Got stuck twice and needed it, only, then. After the game is over there are HOG components still accessible.

It was okay. Enjoyed the graphics and story line. I guess I have the same complaint as always NOT long enough. I am thankful I didn't spend more than $5 +tax. It is not necessary to get the extras and you really don't need the guide. The game and objects can be figured out. The HOG's are good and don't consume the whole game. Thanks guys.

All I can say is that these are the best iPad games I've ever played. I play them over and over, because even once you know the story, you can try to solve the puzzles, find all the ravens and clovers, etc. So very worth the money, and I would like to encourage Mumbo Jumbo to create more games like this!!! This kind of quality is a rare thing - great graphics, smooth interfacing, non-violent and completely engaging. Please please please make more!
