When I want a new page, it wants to me sign in. I just want to start a new page. It also always opens the first document I ever did. Completely unnecessary and annoying

Won’t create document

Getting 1 star, the most important feature on word, to create a document wont create a document from a template or a blank document... I can open a saved document perfectly fine and edit that but when it comes to trying to create a blank document from scratch I am shown a pop up box saying “creating” with a spinning wheel for 10-15 minutes and nothing happening Fix this issue ASAP

Used to be able to have private documents that were only stored on your device, now must logon and allow access to highly personal classified information to whoever Microsoft may share your documents with, either intentionally or by being hacked.
