A poor competitor to Apple news, which by itself is not perfect. Apple news is becoming more ad-laden all the time. But, this is a good try, and I hope they do better curation in the future. To bring up an old S. Jobs concept, taste is important.
Almost There is a scrolling issue on iPhoneX

This app would be a 5 Star, but when you open I open a story that is longer than the screen 75% of the time it won’t scroll. If it’s a multi page story same deal (meaning you need to swip). Once that’s fixed this is my new news application but for now it just is like a teaser with a few words and I can’t get to the story.

When I click on a notification it opens up in the app then the screen goes blank, black. After that it will not open until I restart. MSN Is my favorite please fix this!!

I like the articles but I don’t appreciate the hard “left” storylines. I think it’s import to read both sides. This app is mostly one-sided.
Great... When the news text loads (10%) of time. Horrendous the other 90%

Great app to give people up to date news from variety of sources. However, the new app is repeatedly not downloading the news. Often, all I get is a picture and then scrolls of white space where the article should be. I then have to delete app and then reload. Really? Did the issue. And the new format is tough to get used to. Way too busy. I liked the old format. But if you can't load the text, the app is useless. Update: 7/10/18 l, 2 weeks after writing this review, SAME ISSUES! I am having you delete and re download app because the text on certain articles doesn't download, only pictures. Really? 2018 and you can't figure out a fix? The old app NEVER had this issue. Update: 7/11/18. Just had to delete the app and then download it again so the text will appear! Seriously, someone needs to get on this. Changing rating to a 1 star until they fix this issue. Update 7/21/18: AGAIN (!), text not loading. AGAIN (!) had to delete and re download. Seriously, Microsoft FIX THE ISSUE! Update 7/22/18 The final time I'm deleting this app and its FOR GOOD! Horrendous since the update! For those that used to love this app, SMART NEWS app very good. Consider downloading that one and getting rid of this one for good! Update 8/1/18 Still issues. I'd give this app a 0 if I could! Update 8/7/18 MSN simply CANNOT get it right. Deleting this app daily, just so that content loads when you reinstall. How can a technology company, in the year 2028, NOT be able to figure out how to get updated content to simply load on a refresh without deleting and reinstalling? It's mind boggling to me! Still 0(!) Stars!!!! FIX IT!

Pathetically biased selection of stories, coupled with click-bait headlines. I long for the day when the media would report the news and allow you to decide what you think, as opposed to them telling you how to think, leaving you to decide if it is even news.....

The stories need a way to rate them for bias.Some stories are more opinion that report,with no way to refute it’s conclusion.
